My Story

Perseverance

“To achieve change, you must be persistent, persevere, and refine your work ethics.”

This was my mother’s advice when I was a youth - she convinced me that by making every effort, I would achieve my goals. As an adult, I made a bold decision to move to the United States to achieve new heights in my career, but without my family close, I felt lost, insecure, and had to also overcome my language barrier. I was doubtful & too intimidated to apply to graduate programs - then I found Pilates.

Enthusiasm

My incremental improvement in intelligent physical movement helped me overcome my uncertainties and regain self-assurance - it became a means to psychological, cognitive, and physical well-being. Developing a healthy lifestyle inspired me to earn a teaching certificate in Pilates. I wanted others to experience the joy of revitalization through disciplined physical progression. I am passionate about the decision-making process in implementing specific movements for physical health and psychological benefits. The success stories of my clients, along with my growing passion for a career in physical therapy, are my inspiration to continue developing myself as a professional.

Persistence

Physical health has profound lasting effects. I want to implement my in-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to rehabilitate functional disabilities and injuries. My goal is to educate and encourage patients to progress, adapt, be persistent, through use of therapeutic training. I seek to improve the lives of my patients and to be a source of joy by transforming their mental and physical health. I value the opportunity to be a member of a professional community entrusted with the well-being of others. I look forward to embracing and dedicating myself to a lifelong career in physical therapy.
